Apple Dijon Sausage Bites

Yield: 4 servings
Ingredients

  • 4 Johnsonville® Apple Chicken Sausage links, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 4 pretzel or brioche hot dog buns
  • 2 TBSP Apple chutney or apple butter, prepared
  • ½-1 TBSP Dijon mustard
  • Kosher salt
  • Black pepper

Directions

  1. In small bowl, mix apple chutney or butter with Dijon mustard and pinch of salt and pepper. Set aside.
  2. Heat sausages over a grill, toaster oven or microwave.
  3. Add sausage to bun. Garnish with Apple-Dijon mixture.
  4. Slice each sausage into 3-4 bite-sized pieces and serve.
